Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Kinds
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks such as narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different models vary in terms of the way they are powered. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed for use in warehouses and different other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the type. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, controls and the seat. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
